The Bahrain International Women’s Health Conference & Exhibition’s Organizing Committee has announced the successful completion of all preparations for the inaugural edition of the conference.
The event is scheduled to take place from May 2 to May 4 at The Diplomat Radisson Blu, featuring the theme “Insights in Obstetrics & Gynecology.” BDA Medical Events is organizing the conference in collaboration with the Bahrain Obstetrics and Gynecology Association (BOGA) and the Bahrain Medical Society.
Dr. Nouf Behzad, President of the Bahrain Obstetrics and Gynecology Association and Conference Chairperson, revealed that the conference sessions will be led by a diverse group of international speakers and experts specializing in obstetrics, gynecology, and women’s health. These professionals, hailing from both the Kingdom and abroad, will share their research across various women’s health topics to enhance the therapeutic and pharmacological aspects related to gynecology, addressing the latest developments and emerging medical issues in the field.
Highlighted topics include reproductive health, women’s and fetal health during pregnancy, and a comprehensive review of the most recent studies, scientific research, and advancements in the treatment of women’s health disorders. The conference will also explore the utilization of cutting-edge medical devices and the latest surgical and therapeutic techniques.
Dr. Behzad commented: “The conference endeavors to deliver scientifically valuable content, consolidating the most recent research findings and practical insights shared by participating physicians in the field of detecting and treating diverse obstetric and gynecological conditions. Dr. Ahmed Shahda, the CEO of BDA, emphasized the conference’s overarching goal of enhancing women’s health and elevating obstetrics and gynecology services in Bahrain. This objective is pursued through the promotion of education and knowledge exchange within the field, establishing a platform for scientific collaboration, and leveraging the latest developments and research in this crucial domain. The conference also seeks to equip Bahraini doctors with the most current methods and medical discoveries.
Dr. Shahda highlighted that the event will serve as a convergence point for professionals in the medical sector, including medical professors and specialized doctors with extensive experience in various aspects of women’s health. These areas encompass gynecology before and after childbirth, natural birth, and caesarean section. Additionally, the conference will feature workshops aimed at enriching both its theoretical and applied content.
