French Arabian Business School at AGU Launches 12th Batch of MBA Programme

The French Arabian Business School (FABS) at the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) has launched its 12th batch of the Master’s in Business Administration programme.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of AGU, His Excellency Mr. Eric Giraud-Telme, French Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and other officials.

On this occasion, Dr Waleed Zubari, Director of FABS, thanked government ministries, companies and private sector institutions in the GCC countries for their trust in the programme. He also welcomed the new students, who number 20 male and female students.

Dr Zubari commented: “FABS has produced 290 business leaders in the GCC countries over the past 15 years. The program’s graduates have strong scientific and academic credentials, formed through a combination of education and practical training.”

He credited the partnership with the French government in establishing the institute as a key factor in its success, underlining that the partnership has also opened up new academic and scientific horizons for the university through cooperation with prestigious French universities like the University of Essex.

“The programme has attracted students from across GCC countries, including government ministries, companies and banks. The demand for the programme is driven by the growing need for specialisations in facilities management and public-private partnerships in GCC countries,” Dr Zubari added.

It’s worth noting that the MBA degree granted by AGU is implemented in cooperation with the French University of Essex, which gives the university a global presence, while the certificate is jointly issued by both universities.
