Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, met with Christopher Calvert, CEO of the Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah).
The meeting discussed the ongoing development of the Galali Coast Waterfront Project, scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2024, following the signing of a strategic agreement between Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and Edamah to manage and operate the project.
Al Sairafi commended the company’s achievement in developing tourism projects at various levels in order to boost the sector’s contribution to the GDP and attract tourists as part of Bahrain’s Tourism Strategy 2022-2026.
The two sides also reviewed the latest developments of the Bilaj Al Jazayer project, which includes a number of luxury hotels, entertainment facilities, and high-end restaurant outlets, in addition to a group of residential and commercial facilities.
