Bahrain’s Royal Endurance Team dominated the 100km, 120km, and 160km races at the Windsor Horse Festival in the United Kingdom. Represented by the Victorious and Al Ru’ood teams, they secured top positions with outstanding performances.
Dr. Khalid Ahmed Hassan, Team Director, credited His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his support, highlighting the team’s preparation and resilience despite challenging weather conditions.
Under Shaikh Nasser’s guidance, the Victorious team claimed first place in the 160km race, led by rider Othman Abduljaleel Al Awadhi. The Al Ru’ood team secured victory in the 120km race, with rider Ahmed Khaled Ahmed Althawadi leading the charge.
Dr. Khalid commended the coaches for their strategic planning, ensuring the team’s readiness for the festival. Rider Cecilia Garcia from the Victorious team claimed first place in the 100km race, showcasing the team’s exceptional performance.
