Dr. Samya Ali Bahram, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health at the Ministry of Health, and Chairperson of the Scientific Committee for the Primary Health Care Centers Conference, has affirmed the committee’s preparedness to deliver exceptional and varied content that contributes to the achievement of the Primary Health Care Centers Conference’s objectives.
The conference, slated to take place from February 2 to 4 under the theme “From Theory to Excellence,” is organized by BDA for organizing medical conferences and events.
Dr. Bahram highlighted that the Scientific Committee members are diligently working to curate content that adds value for all participants. This will be accomplished through discussion sessions and workshops spanning the three days of the conference, aimed at showcasing the latest advancements and discoveries in the field of primary health care.
Furthermore, Dr. Bahram emphasized the committee’s intensified efforts to foster a conducive environment for discussions and dialogues, firmly committed to advancing the health sector, establishing success benchmarks, adopting best practices in primary health care, and concentrating on imparting contemporary scientific knowledge while sharing successful experiences for the benefit of all.
Dr. Bahram said: “This conference holds significant importance by serving as an integrated platform for the exchange of experiences and knowledge among practitioners and researchers in the domains of primary health care, and medical services. It plays a pivotal role in elevating the Kingdom of Bahrain’s standing as a leading destination for health and medical tourism, while also showcasing the advanced capabilities of the Kingdom’s health system.”
Dr. Bahram added: “Notably, the conference attracts distinguished experts in primary health care from Bahrain, the Arab Gulf countries, the Middle East, and Europe, making it a key venue for the exchange of perspectives and experiences among professionals within the Kingdom. Furthermore, the event contributes to the development of the capabilities of doctors by providing them with modern skills in the field of primary health care.”
Dr. Bahram emphasized that the conference’s sessions and workshops will delve into scientific programs for primary health care, exploring the latest advancements in primary medicine technology, and discussing newly introduced treatments for diseases across various related fields. These encompass family medicine, emergency medicine, infection control, vaccinations, chronic and infectious diseases, genetic diseases, psychiatric conditions, as well as oral and dental health. The content aligns with the evolving landscape of research and clinical services in the field of primary care.
