Visit Bahrain, the leading destination management company based in the Kingdom of Bahrain, successfully participated in the Berlin International Tourism Fair (ITB Berlin), a prestigious global event held in the German capital.
The event brought together leading experts, decision-makers, investors, academics, tour operators, and destination management companies from across the tourism, travel, and hospitality industries.
This year’s participation culminated in the signing of several strategic agreements with major tour operators and travel agencies from the United Kingdom, Romania, Hungary, and other key markets. These agreements, amounting to a total value of USD 125 million, mark a significant milestone in expanding Bahrain’s global tourism footprint.
Additionally, Visit Bahrain renewed several existing agreements with regional and international tourism partners, reinforcing its commitment to long-term industry collaboration.
The newly signed agreements are tailored to enhance Bahrain’s visibility as a premier travel hub by fostering partnerships with international travel agencies, increasing the influx of tourists from diverse and emerging markets, and facilitating seamless visitor experiences.
Furthermore, these collaborations will support the development of innovative tourism experiences that integrate Bahrain’s rich cultural heritage with contemporary attractions, offering visitors a unique blend of tradition and modernity.
Commenting on the success of Visit Bahrain’s presence at ITB Berlin, CEO Mr. Ali Amralla stated: “Visit Bahrain platform at ITB Berlin 2025 attracted remarkable turnout from visitors, investors, and key tourism stakeholders, and many industry leaders expressed their admiration for Bahrain’s diverse and competitive tourism offerings. We successfully showcased our unique products, services, and travel packages, which have played a pivotal role in securing these distinguished partnerships, collectively valued at approximately USD 125 million.”
