With over 30 years of experience in the culinary world, Chef Joergen brings with him a wealth of knowledge and creativity to our kitchen. His passion for using locally sourced ingredients and his dedication to creating innovative and flavorful dishes align perfectly with The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain’s overall gastronomic vision.
Chef Joergen’s distinguished career includes working for The Ritz-Carlton brand in a variety of locations around the world including Berlin, Oman, and Amman, where he has honed his skills and developed a unique culinary style. His expertise in various cuisines, highlighted by his passion for sustainability, promises to elevate our restaurants and banquet menus to new heights.
A true Ritz-Carlton Gentleman, Chef Joergen has been an integral part of many hotel opening teams in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Ras Al Khaima, Al Wadi Desert, Al Hamra Beach and most recently, The Ritz-Carlton Amman in Jordan. In addition, he was also part of the opening team of EDITION Abu Dhabi where he worked with renowned 2 Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens, and in Tokyo where he learned the Japanese art of perfection.
Under Chef Joergen’s guidance, we can expect not only an elevated menu offering in our award-winning restaurants but also exciting culinary events and collaborations. He will lead our culinary team of Ladies and Gentlemen in delivering an exceptional dining experience that will cater to the most discerning of palates.
