Taha International Company for Industrial Services, Bahrain’s leading aluminium dross processing company, took part in the ninth Belt and Road Summit as part of the Bahraini delegation.
The summit, a premier global platform for fostering business collaboration, was held in Hong Kong under the theme “Building a Connected, Innovative, and Green Belt and Road.”
Taha represented the Kingdom of Bahrain in a panel discussion titled “Project Investment Session: Middle East & North Africa Market,” moderated by Mr. Patrick Yeung, CEO of Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.
The session was attended by prominent figures, including H.E. Mr. Mohamed Abduljabbar Alkoheji, Second Vice Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mrs. Safa Sharif Abdulkhaliq, CEO of Export Bahrain.
During the session, Mr. Ammar Awachi, CEO of Taha, showcased the company’s globally patented dross processing technology, which effectively process aluminium waste while minimizing carbon emissions, adhering to stringent environmental standards.
During the session, Mr. Awachi emphasized that the patented technology developed by Bahraini and international experts at Taha’s Bahrain headquarters is increasingly being adopted by aluminium smelters worldwide and said that this innovative technology allows aluminium producers to enhance their environmental sustainability by eliminating toxic and harmful waste.
Currently, Taha’s technology is widely implemented in India and the United States, and the company has collaborated with China’s largest aluminium producer to integrate the solution into their industrial operations.
Mr. Awachi also highlighted the company’s comprehensive services and its exceptional regional and international achievements over the years and pointed out that investment opportunities are available for those interested in partnering with the company, including manufacturing agreements for value-added products derived from processed aluminium dross.
Additionally, Mr. Awachi invited investors to explore opportunities in Taha’s upcoming projects, both within Bahrain and internationally, and expressed his ambition to further expand into the Chinese market, particularly considering China’s Belt and Road Initiative, which has become a key driver of trade and investment between China and the Middle East over the past decade.
