Among the participating startups were Mame Pod, a local restaurant focused on serving a variety of healthy Japanese snacks; Oreem Delivery, an application that enables customers to order anything from anywhere in Bahrain under one umbrella; Sakani, a real estate application that allows customers to find property and contact agents and banks to receive approval for purchasing property; Kyan Jewelry, which specializes in creating 18k gold jewelry driven by art and nature; and lastly Lunchy, a foodtech app dedicated to providing personalized healthy lunch subscriptions for school children.
The panel of judges conducted a thorough assessment of each startup’s potential, acknowledging their impressive presentations. Ultimately, Mame Pod, founded by Fedaa Tawfeeq, was announced as the first-place winner.
“Winning the fifth edition of StartUp Bahrain Pitch is surreal as much as it’s an honor for myself and my team,” expressed Fedaa on their win.
