SJC opens applications for “Judges of the Future” programme in civil judiciary

Judge Ali Ahmed Al Kaabi, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), announced the launch of applications for the “Judges of the Future 2024” programme, aimed at training future civil judiciary judges.

Applications will open on Sunday, November 17, at 8:00 AM and close on Thursday, November 21, at 2:00 PM, with selected candidates undergoing comprehensive training to meet high competency standards.

Judge Al Kaabi outlined eligibility requirements for applicants, including Bahraini nationality, full legal capacity, and an age limit of 30 as of the announcement date, November 10. Candidates must hold a law degree (LLB or Bachelor’s) from a recognised university in Bahrain with a minimum grade of “Good.” Additionally, applicants should have a strong reputation, a clean record, and no past criminal or disciplinary convictions impacting their integrity.
