RHF and London Breast Care Centre sign cooperation agreement

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) and the London Breast Care Centre signed a cooperation agreement to enhance healthcare services for over 6,000 widows supported by the RHF.

The centre will provide free screenings, including ultrasound and mammography, valued at BHD 1.5 million, for one year.

Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, RHF Secretary-General, and Dr. Sara Al Reefy, Consultant General, Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon at London Breast Care Centre in Bahrain, signed the agreement.

Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa highlighted the importance of partnerships in enhancing RHF services, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, RHF’s Honorary President, and the aspirations of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of RHF.

Dr. Al Reefy emphasised the significance of this strategic agreement, which will provide crucial cancer prevention services for widows, aligning with broader goals of sustainable development and community well-being.

The London Breast Surgery Centre, known for its contributions to the community, is a leading institution in breast surgery and reconstruction.

This agreement reflects Bahrain’s commitment to partnership and improving public health and quality of life.
