Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the President of the Survey & Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), launched the plat map service via the national portal Bahrain.bh.
The launch at the SLRB premises was attended by Mohammed Al Qaed, the CEO of the Information and eGovernment Authority (IGA); Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and other officials.
The new service is the latest addition to real estate servives available on the platform, aimed at increasing efficiency and streamlining procedures.
Shaikh Salman commended the efforts of the IGA in implementing digital transformation policies, in line with the Government Plan (2023-2026), noting the role of the ministerial committee for informational and communication technology (ICT), headed by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Interior Minister, in this area.
On his part, the IGA CEO commended the keenness of the President of the SLRB on automating services in the real estate sector, which is a key component of economic development. He affirmed the importance of the partnership between IGA and the SLRB, as it focuses on the development of the digital infrastructure of the real estate sector to benefit individuals and businesses.
