She expressed her gratitude to NSSA for the opportunity to participate in this important meeting, noting Bahrain’s keenness to empower women and NSSA’s efforts to achieve gender equity in this promising sector.

“I am proud to represent Bahraini women in the “Space4Women” initiative, and to highlight their ability to lead in all sectors,” Al-Haram added.

During the meeting, Niklas Hedman, Acting Director of UNOOSA, stressed the importance of empowering women and promoting gender equality within the “Space4Women” initiative.

The meeting concluded with an update provided by Veronica Cesco of the UNOOSA on the Mentorship Program for “Space4Women”, and showcasing experiences of female speakers in programmes under the initiative.
