The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) recently welcomed representatives of the AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) to its headquarters where they collaborated with the bank on a financial literacy workshop for students aged 14 to 16. The session was led by NBB employee Yusuf Almeer, who helped inform the students on the aspects of financial literacy pertaining to Bahrain’s financial services industry, as well as providing financial advice on subjects such as; personal finances, investment, budgeting and savings. This initiative forms a key part of the NBB HR and Talent Development team’s ‘investment in learning’ programme which is accessible to students across the Kingdom.
The collaboration with the AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation is representative of the bank’s commitment to support local communities, providing them with guidance and skills that will enhance their everyday lives. NBB is dedicated to developing its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) offerings through enriching initiatives such as the financial literacy workshop.
