His Highness Shaikh Nasser AI Research and Development Centre (NAIRDC), the research and development arm of Nasser Vocational Training Center (NVTC), signed a cooperation agreement with Yokogawa Middle East & Africa B.S.C., one of the leading companies in the field of industrial automation and software solutions, in an important step towards advancing collaboration on the Fourth Industrial Revolution and encouraging innovation and digital transformation in various sectors, which supports the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a pioneering regional center for innovation and technological creativity.
The agreement includes cooperation in various sectors, including knowledge and experience sharing in relation to technical training and the provision of specialized workshops, in providing the latest systems and tools that support the solutions adopted in the field of Artificial Intelligence and focus on academic and research initiatives, cognitive contributions, organizing collaborative conferences and field visits.
This cooperation will contribute to enhancing the technical capabilities of the research and development arm team and benefiting from Yokogawa expertise in enhancing innovation in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and industrial automation.
Dr. Abdulla bin Naser Al Noaimi, CEO of HH Shaikh Nasser AI Research and Development Centre, emphasised the importance of cooperation with the leading Yokogawa Company, as this cooperation will provide a broader field in providing innovative solutions to various companies and institutions with technological innovation.
“The center seeks to develop cooperation with the leading regional and global companies in this field, in line with the Kingdom’s vision and aspirations in applying Artificial Intelligence technologies in order to achieve digital transformation”.
