The Ministry of Finance and National Economy announced that it has signed an agreement with Hawar International School to establish and operate a private school in the city of Hidd, on one of the properties offered within the Government Land Investment Platform, of an area of 23,888 square meters.
Yousif Abdullah Humood, the Undersecretary for Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy said the agreement utilises the benefits provided by platform.
The platform aims at streamlining procedures for commercial activity and increasing their efficiency in order to strengthen partnerships between the public and private sectors, stimulate investment activity, maximise transparency, and provide free and fair competition in bidding on government lands; which is all aligned with the objectives of the Economic Recovery Plan, he said.
Humood noted that the private sector was a key partner in Bahrain’s development and in enhancing services for citizens and residents.
He emphasised the importance of offering high quality educational services, which contribute to better educational outcomes, he said.
The agreement was signed by Noura Hassan Al Assem, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, and Mahmoud Abdul Jabbar Al Kooheji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hawar International School.
