Supreme Council of Health (SCH) and Government Hospitals signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SM Bahrain to organise the 3rd edition of Manama Health (Exhibition & Conference).
Manama Health is expected to be held in December with the participation of officials in the health sector, representatives of international medical institutions in Bahrain and abroad, and medical companies and those interested in the medical sector.
Dr. Ibrahim Ali Al Nawakhda, SCH Secretary-General, and Dr. Maryam Athbi Al Jalahma, CEO of the Government Hospitals, signed the MoU with Mohammed Kamel, SM President.
Dr. Al Nawakhda affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to host specialised health and scientific conferences that aim to exchange expertise from around the world in the health sector.
He added that the kingdom also provides a supporting environment for competencies in the health sector and promotes the sustainability of the health system.
Dr. Al Jalahma affirmed the importance of medical conferences in highlighting important health and scientific topics, hence the organization of Manama Health that witnesses participation from major local, regional and international medical institutions.
Kamel affirmed that Manama Health would attract new foreign investments, benefiting from the privileges, facilities and investment incentives that Bahrain provides.
