Leading Bahraini Food Powerhouses Headline Gulfood’s Bahrain Pavilion

The Bahraini Pavilion made a dynamic debut at Gulfood in Dubai, the world’s largest annual food and beverage exhibition.

On its inaugural day, the pavilion showcased a robust presence, featuring the participation of esteemed Bahraini food companies and brands, including Awal Dairy Company, Deeko Bahrain, and Kazerooni Brothers. These Bahraini companies were among the nearly 5,500 food manufacturing and trading companies worldwide participating in Gulfood.

The pavilion attracted over 10,000 visitors keen to explore and discover the services and products offered by Bahraini companies in the food and beverage industry and trade.

Mr. Ahmed Al-Hujairy, CEO of WorkSmart Events Management the organizer of the Bahraini pavilion, expressed his delight at the remarkable turnout witnessed on the first day, and the impressive success achieved, underlining the pivotal role played by the pavilion at Gulfood.

Mr. Al Hujairy affirmed that the pavilion plays a significant role in promoting the Bahraini food industry and elevating its visibility on the global stage, and commented: “For the tenth consecutive edition, WorkSmart has taken the lead in organizing the Bahraini pavilion at Gulfood. Over time, this pavilion has evolved into a crucial platform fostering communication between leaders in the food industry and participating companies. It serves as an invaluable opportunity to showcase business prospects, discuss growth strategies, and present investment opportunities within the sector.”

 Mr. Al Hujairy added: “The platform caters not only to distributors, suppliers, wholesalers, and retailers but also extends its reach to sectors including hospitality and restaurants. This strategic initiative aligns seamlessly with the Kingdom’s vision, aiming to boost exports from the food sector and fortify food security measures.”

Gulfood, guided by the theme “Real Food Led by Strong Partnerships,” will extend its run until the 23rd of this month. The event will showcase the world’s most prestigious international brands alongside a multitude of new exhibitors. These exhibitors will come together to showcase food products and ingredients, as well as introduce innovative culinary practices.

 Gulfood provides a platform for discussions on establishing genuine business relationships and closing deals, with potential transactions exceeding 12 billion US dollars. Furthermore, the exhibition will feature pavilions dedicated to countries participating for the first time, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Venezuela.
