Justice Ministry expands electronic notarisation services with 58 new transaction types

The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments has added 58 new types of transactions to its electronic notarisation services, available through its newly launched digital platform that enables fully online transactions.

Nouf Ali Khalfan, Director of the Notary Directorate at the ministry, stated that this expansion is part of the second phase of the digital transformation project for notarisation services. The initiative aims to enhance the role of private notaries and facilitate the completion of transactions electronically, eliminating the need for in-person visits at all stages.

She emphasised the ministry’s commitment to further expanding electronic notarisation services through a phased approach focused on continuous user experience improvements. The services are now accessible through a unified digital platform, including remote notarisation services available both within and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Earlier this month, the ministry had announced the inclusion of 31 transaction types as part of the first phase of the digital transformation project, launched at the beginning of March.
