Inovest convened its Ordinary General Assembly Meeting at the Bahrain Bourse Hall, with shareholders and Board members in attendance. The meeting focused on key agenda items designed to strengthen the company’s trajectory and ensure continued sustainable growth within the Kingdom of Bahrain’s investment sector.
During the session, shareholders approved the minutes of the previous annual ordinary general assembly meeting, which took place on September 25, 2024. They also reviewed and endorsed the Board of Directors’ report on the company’s activities for the financial year ending December 31, 2024. Shareholders expressed their appreciation for the company’s financial and administrative performance and officially approved the report.
The Board of Directors reviewed the Shari’a Supervisory Board’s report on Inovest’s business for the year ending December 31, 2024, alongside the external auditors’ report. Following detailed discussions, shareholders approved the company’s audited financial statements for the same fiscal year.
Additionally, shareholders endorsed the Corporate Governance Report for 2024, affirming Inovest’s adherence to the regulations set by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Central Bank of Bahrain. Furthermore, the directors of the Board were granted absolution from liability for their actions throughout the fiscal year. Transactions with related parties were also disclosed in accordance with Article 189 of the Commercial Companies Law.
The meeting also confirmed the appointment of members to the Shari’a Supervisory Board and external auditors for the upcoming financial year ending December 31, 2025. The Board of Directors was authorized to determine their remuneration, pending approval from the Central Bank of Bahrain. Any additional business matters were discussed in line with Article 207 of the Commercial Companies Law.
