INJAZ Bahrain And Dr-Earth Launch Program to Mark World Environment Day

In celebration of World Environment Day, INJAZ Bahrain, a non-profit organization and a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide (JA), has partnered with Dr-Earth, an app that aims to encourage green activities to saving the environment. The app aims to raise awareness about the importance of a greener economy and the significance of environment among school students, universities, and companies.

Dr-Earth is a revolutionary app that addresses the pressing issue of climate change by empowering individuals and fostering collective efforts to create a more sustainable and ecologically conscious world. By integrating and amplifying small-scale initiatives into a larger, more impactful solution, Dr-Earth encourages a modern approach to ecological conservation and preservation.

By implementing the Dr-Earth app for school students, universities, and companies, INJAZ Bahrain will inspire and educate individuals on the practical steps they can take to contribute to a greener future.

Through the Dr-Earth app, students will be encouraged to engage in environmentally friendly practices such as reusing things, exploring creative recycling techniques, learning to conserve electricity, undertaking activities such as planting trees, etc. The initiative not only instills a sense of responsibility towards the environment in young minds but also equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to become stewards of a sustainable future.

Her Highness Shaikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, said:  “By empowering individuals and connecting communities, we believe that we can create a more sustainable future. Through this initiative, we aim to inspire Bahrain’s youth to become environmental advocates and encourage businesses to adopt eco-friendly practices. Together, we can make a real difference in combating climate change and preserving our planet for future generations.”

Chandan Gupta, CEO & Co-founder of Dr-Earth, said “We are very pleased to partner with INJAZ Bahrain and jointly undertake environment activities. Using technology and partnering with likeminded institutions and individuals, we truly believe that together we can bring about a positive change towards the environment”.

The app will offer students an opportunity to foster a culture of sustainability and underscores the pivotal role students play in shaping a greener society.
