Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) is holding the graduation ceremony for the eighteenth batch of graduates of the 2023/2024 academic year, on June 23rd at the Exhibition World Bahrain. The ceremony will witness the graduation of 279 students, including 182 students from the College of Medicine and Medical Sciences, and 97 students from the College of Graduate Studies.
On this occasion, His Excellency Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of AGU, extended his sincere appreciation to the support extended to AGU from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Moreover, His Excellency expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for sponsoring the graduation ceremony of AGU students, which reflects the continuous attention that the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain pays to the education sector.
He also appreciated the hosting of the headquarters of AGU by the Kingdom of Bahrain since 1980 and its continuous backing for it to become one of the most important joint GCC projects for the peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries over the past 44 years.
Since its establishment, AGU has contributed to providing the health sector in the GCC ountries with 3,527 graduate doctors, in addition to 1,967 graduates of higher diplomas, master’s and PhD degrees who have contributed to boosting the development in the sectors of education, innovation and technology management, environmental sciences, and life sciences.
