Under the patronage of the President of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Government Hospitals will host the Fourth National Sickle Cell Symposium.
The symposium was organised in cooperation with Educationplus and will take place on Thursday, February 8.
Dr. Maryam Athbi Al Jalahma, CEO of the Government Hospital Administrations, affirmed the importance of continuing to host the symposium and its role in providing quality healthcare services to sickle cell disease patients through exchanging expertise and knowledge among health specialists.
The symposium had an outstanding turnout in its previous editions, attracting a wide range of participants and showcasing many scientific papers that contributed to setting the goals of comprehensive sickle cell care.
