Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Ali Bahzad, Consular and Administrative Affairs Undersecretary at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, opened the ASEAN Holiday Bazaar, held by the Indonesian Embassy to Bahrain.
Ardi Hermawan, Indonesian Ambassador to Bahrain, several ambassadors accredited to Bahrain and guests attended the opening ceremony.
The undersecretary expressed pride in the existing partnership and cooperation between Bahrain and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries, affirming the kingdom’s keenness to continue its cooperation and coordination with those states to broaden those ties and achieve common interests.
Ambassador Dr. Bahzad was briefed on the products that the countries participating in the bazaar are famous for, such as the Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia, commending the efforts of those in charge of the bazaar, and wishing them continued success.
The ASEAN Holiday Bazaar aims to bolster cooperation between Bahrain and ASEAN countries to enhance their partnership in various fields.
