BTECH and WorkSmart Unite for MEET ICT and BITEX’s Largest Edition Ever!

The Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) and WorkSmart Events Management Company have formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly orchestrate the twelfth edition of the Information and Communication Technology Conference (MEET ICT) and the Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (BITEX). This collaboration comes after a successful track record of 14 years in hosting this prestigious event.

This partnership signifies a shared commitment to foster the growth of the ICT sector in the Kingdom and to expand its reach and international participation in this year’s event.

Scheduled to launch on the 6th to 8th February 2024 at the Gulf Convention Centre, this year’s MEET ICT conference and BITEX Exhibition will be co-organized by BTECH and WorkSmart under the theme “AI: Driving the Success of Digital Transformation.” This theme aligns perfectly with the swiftly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence, which has a profound impact on digital transformation. It also caters to the growing number of companies seeking to adopt cutting-edge AI-driven technologies. Moreover, this underscores the pivotal role that AI plays as a driving force in the contemporary technology and business landscape.

This edition of MEET ICT and BITEX will be considered the largest as it presents a new Tech related sectors which are financial technology (FINTECH), Agriculture Technologies (Agri Tech)  and Healthcare Technologies a. This new segment will provide an ideal platform for industry experts, innovators, and start-ups to showcase their latest technologies and solutions in these growing fields.  Mr. Ahmed Al Hujairy, CEO of WorkSmart, expressed his delight in WorkSmart’s continued role in organizing the Meet ICT and BITEX, offering insights into business trends and developments throughout the event.
