BRCS Elevates Alumni Club Members with Training Initiatives

The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) conducted a training course for members of the Alumni Club at the club’s Adliya headquarters. This initiative is part of a collaborative effort between the two entities, encompassing various areas such as advancing human potential, honing skills, and fostering capacities in diverse fields.

Certified trainers from the BRCS oversaw the training course, which covered several key aspects. These included familiarizing participants with the principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, the fundamentals of relief and humanitarian work, and strategies for providing aid to those affected by crises and disasters, among other topics.

Mr. Mubarak Al-Hadi, Secretary-General of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society, emphasized the significance of the partnership with the Alumni Club. He underscored the society’s dedication to disseminating the ethos of relief and humanitarian work across a broad spectrum of public, private, and civil entities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Furthermore, the aim is to widely promote the principles of relief and humanitarian work and showcase the Kingdom’s substantial relief efforts in numerous regions worldwide.

Chairman of the Alumni Club, Mr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, conveyed his delight over the collaboration, citing its positive impact on enhancing the club’s members’ capabilities. He emphasized the partnership’s robust dedication to fostering the values of cooperation and solidarity within Bahraini society.

Mr. Al-Zayani further highlighted the substantial contribution of the training course in acquainting club members with the principles of relief and humanitarian work. The course equipped them with the essential knowledge and skills required to respond adeptly in emergency situations and offer effective assistance across diverse fields and positions.

Mr. Ali Sulaibikh, Vice President of the Club, Mr. Saleh Hassan, Secretary-General, and Mr. Jihad Bin Salloum, Director of the Club, actively participated in the ceremony by personally handing over certificates to the trainees.
