National Space Science Authority (NSSA) represented by its CEO, Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Aseeri, signed an agreement with Kallman Worldwide represented by its President and CEO, Thomas Kallman, in the Partnership USA Pavilion in Dubai Airshow 2023.
Kallman has selected Bahrain for the third time in a row to be one of the participating countries in the Space Camp 2025, in Alabama, US, due to NSSA’s excellence and the Kingdom’s position in education regionally and based on the success of previous experiences.
Dr. Al Aseeri expressed his happiness to sign this agreement, which aims to highlight Bahrain among the advanced countries in space sciences and the use of space technologies to enhance comprehensive development and ensure prosperity in the Kingdom.
He stressed that establishing cooperative relationships in regional and international joint projects with space agencies and technical, industrial, and research organizations working in space science, technology education, science, engineering, and mathematics, is an integral part of the NSSA’s strategic plan.
He said that this agreement enhances cooperation in the future, adding that the NSSA is keen to develop education and training in the space sector and its sciences as it will reflect positively on the future of Bahrain, which will contribute to achieving the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
