The seventh edition of the Bahrain Smart Cities Summit 2024 will kick off in March 5-6, under the theme”Achieving progress through artificial intelligence”, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, the Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture announced.
Al Mubarak affirmed the kingdom’s keenness to adopt the best technologies and modern science to achieve sustainable smart cities, in line with the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The summit will showcase the best global practices in artificial intelligence, smart housing, sustainable architecture, and food security. It will also highlight the implementation of the best agricultural technologies, environmental, social, and governance principles, as well as renewable energy.
The summit will feature an exhibition displaying the latest solutions for smart buildings, sustainable energy systems, and artificial intelligence, as well as technical solutions for sustainable food and waste management.
