Bahrain Polytechnic and Foulath Holding have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at exploring the available opportunities for the company’s employees to benefit from the range of academic and training programs offered by the Polytechnic to obtain professional and academic certifications in various disciplines. In return, the agreement seeks to provide practical training opportunities for students within the company, and open doors for them to participate in the company’s practical and applied projects.
The memorandum was signed by CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, and Group CEO of Foulath Holding by Mr. Dilip George, in the presence of several officials from both sides.
According to the memorandum of understanding, Foulath Holding will provide practical training opportunities and participation in industrial and research projects for students, in addition to workshops, field visits, hosting speakers, knowledge exchange, and industrial visits. Bahrain Polytechnic will provide programs and training courses that will help Foulath Holding employees in their professional and career development.
On this occasion, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Foulath Holding for their strong support, stating: “We are pleased to sign the memorandum of understanding and enhance cooperation with Foulath Holding, enabling our students to benefit from the company’s expertise and experiences. Working and collaborating with our partners in the job market is an important part of building the Polytechnic’s journey, as we focus on providing our students with practical and applied experience at an early stage of their academic lives, and ensuring that our graduates are qualified with the skills required by the job market in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.”
