Arabian Gulf University Launches New Developed Website

The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) has recently launched its new official website, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s digital journey. The website was developed in line with the latest technological standards and innovative designs, ensuring ease of navigation and compatibility with various electronic devices.

The inauguration ceremony was held at Al Rifai Hall at the university, where the His Excellency Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of AGU, praised the new website’s features. He noted that the update aimed to provide users with an effortless browsing experience, allowing them to access information on the university’s activities, academic chairs, achievements and initiatives.

Mr Nawaf Abdulrahman, Director of the Information Technology Centre at AGU, highlighted the website’s features as an academic interface that reflects the university’s mission and directions. He further emphasised that the website is designed to be a reliable source of information for students, researchers and those interested in keeping up-to-date with the university’s news and activities.

Mr Abdulrahman said that the development of the website will be continuous, with a focus on raising the efficiency and effectiveness of electronic services through various digital channels. He attributed the success of the trial launch to the guidance of His Excellency the President of the university and the hard work of the development and content creation team from various academic and administrative departments.

“The website was developed in accordance with modern technological standards, incorporating modern and innovative designs and specifications that meet globally competitive standards. The website offers easy access to all university information and services, making it an essential tool for academics, administrators, researchers, and students,” Mr Abdulrahman commented.

He added: “The Arabian Gulf University’s constant pursuit of excellence and leadership in scientific and academic performance has driven its efforts to develop and enhance its electronic services. The new website is a testament to this commitment to continuous development and improvement.”
