The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) and Education Plus have signed an official cooperation agreement to organise the third edition of the Internal Medicine Conference in May 2024. The conference has seen great success in its previous editions and has attracted a large number of participants, presenting advanced scientific papers in internal diseases and highlighting the progress of the medical sector in the Kingdom.
The agreement was signed by Mr Hesham Ali Al Ansari, Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Dr Amin Abdullah, General Manager of Education Plus, in the presence of Dr Amgad El Baz Al Agroudi, Internal Medicine Professor at the University, and Mr Ahmed Jumaa, Operations Manager at Education Plus.
On this occasion, Mr Al Ansari expressed that the University, led by Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of AGU, is committed to supporting doctors in various specialties, especially internal medicine, reiterating its keenness to keep abreast with all scientific and practical developments related to internal medicine, and sharing knowledge with the participants in the conference.
Additionally, Mr Al Ansari stated that the conference is an opportunity to showcase the success of medical conferences hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, while at the same time, he praised the organisational capabilities of Education Plus and the joint goal of creating an ideal conference atmosphere.
The conference organising and scientific committees will be announced in the coming days, while it is expected that the event will feature over 40 scientific papers and advanced researches in the field of internal medicine. More than 450 participants, including doctors and specialists from Bahrain and around the world, are expected to attend.
For his part, Dr Abdullah highlighted the company’s achievements in organising conferences and expressed the importance of cooperation with AGU to ensure the success of the Internal Medicine Conference, adding that the company will work closely with the University to achieve their shared goal of organising a successful conference.
