The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) announced that the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Chair for Technology Management will offer two fully funded scholarships for the Master of Technology Management programme in the 2025-2026 academic year. The Chair will also appoint a post-doctoral researcher within the Business Management track of the College of Education, Administrative and Technical Sciences.
His Excellency Dr Fahad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of the Arabian Gulf University, affirmed that the initiative underscores AGU’s longstanding commitment to academic excellence and research, and to empowering Gulf talents in the fields of technology and management. He noted that the scholarships and the new research post will help cultivate a cadre capable of leading digital transformation and advancing sustainable development across the GCC.
Dr Al Fuhaid further expressed his profound gratitude to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s wise leadership for its unwavering support of higher education and scientific research. He stressed that such support remains a cornerstone enabling the university to launch high-impact initiatives that serve Gulf citizens and reinforce Bahrain’s status as a regional hub for academic and technological excellence.

She said the scholarships open new horizons for outstanding Gulf students, enhance their readiness for the digital future, and further strengthen AGU’s role in fostering an innovative academic environment and supporting strategic research projects.
