The 7th Bahrain Dermatology, Laser & Aesthetics Conference (BDLA7 2024) is set to launch in the Kingdom of Bahrain on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Diplomat Hotel.
The three-day event will serve as a platform for specialists in dermatology, plastic surgery, and related fields, as well as professionals in the cosmetic medicine sector, including nurses, technicians, and students from both Bahrain and abroad, to exchange the latest medical and scientific knowledge. The conference will feature various sessions and workshops presenting the newest scientific publications, medications, dermatological treatments, and devices in the fields of dermatology, laser, and aesthetics.
Dr. Ahmed Shahda, Head of the Organizing Committee and Vice President of the Conference stated that hosting this event for the seventh consecutive year underscores the Bahraini health sector’s commitment to enhancing scientific and strategic cooperation in dermatology and cosmetology.
“This medical gathering will showcase numerous advanced scientific papers and new research, highlighting the latest developments in the field of aesthetics, thereby contributing to improving the quality of healthcare provided in this sector and achieving significant outcomes.” said Dr. Shahda.
Dr. Tariq Saeed, Advisory Board Member and Head of the Plastic Surgery Scientific Committee, announced that the third day of the conference will bring together top plastic surgeons for over 10 panel discussions, distinguished lectures, and in-depth conversations on the latest advancements in plastic surgery and related research, presented by leading experts, consultants, and keynote speakers.
It is noteworthy that BDLA7 2024 will feature numerous lectures and panel discussions on a wide range of critical topics, including psoriasis, alopecia, eczema, vitiligo, and the latest medical advancements and research on various skin diseases. The event will also spotlight cutting-edge laser technologies used in dermatology and cosmetology, alongside hands-on training workshops on the use of new devices and cosmetic injection techniques.
The conference will be inaugurated with contributions from a distinguished group of strategic partners, both local and international. Among the participants are the National Health Regulatory Authority, the Bahrain Dermatologists Association, the Bahrain Medical Society, and ISAPS – Member’s Meeting Bahrain.
